The Origin of Kaladi’s

 

The name Kaladi’s is inspired by one of the most famous legends in coffee history.

 

Coffee’s journey began in regions like Yemen and Ethiopia, where it was first discovered and shared with the world centuries ago.

 

According to legend, a goat herder named Kaldi noticed something unusual—his goats became unusually energetic after eating bright red cherries from a certain plant. Curious, Kaldi tried the cherries himself and experienced the same burst of energy.

 

That mysterious fruit would later become known as the coffee bean.

 

This simple yet powerful discovery sparked a tradition that spread across continents and generations—bringing people together over a shared love of coffee.
